This meme was created months ago. The person on the right side of the meme has been hounding me about the fact I used it. Well, if you put yourself on the web, don’t whine.

Also the meme was created after one argument from what turned out to be a weasel who probably never touched a gun in his life, it was later revealed to me. But he was trying to act all badass and, in an argument I merely stepped in on, was slamming a woman who was sharing how she’d lost her husband to gun fire. For some reason he thought it was appropriate to slam her for it, accuse her of being a “gun-grabber,” (a pattern I see from lots of gun fuckers), and then set a bunch of his fellow rightwing gun-humping asshats onto her for no clear reason.

They were all trying to pretend like we wouldn’t be here in this country if it weren’t for them and their guns. And I’m like, you are not the badasses you pretend to be. When shit hits the fan, guns far more often make things worse. Good guys with guns showed up when Gabby Giffords was shot, and instead of getting the bad guy, they created confusion as cops didn’t know who was the bad guy.

Of course, gun-humpers now love to make fun of Gabby for even being shot. I guess they think she’s a gun-grabber. I guess they never got the memo that she and her husband both are owners, and like me, just want people held accountable and reasonable measures to reduce this violence.

But don’t say that. You’ll be “anti-gun” and a “gun grabber,” and have people like, well, the asshat in the right side of that meme above, setting all of his gun clown friends on you.

I shouldn’t have engaged. I did, and every predictable bullshit response possible came from it. From that, “Boy you’re mad LOL” type of responses, to the accusation I’m just a “typical liberal who’s never seen a gun.” And when I post why that’s incorrect, then it’s, “Oh, so you had a shitty childhood and think you can tell everyone what to do.”

When you fuckers act like that, you might actually convince the country to start taking your guns away. You actually might.

But what I’m asking is this: is the meme above actually anti-gun? No. It’s anti-deluded moron with arms. It’s anti-fiction-worship. It’s a wake up call that Jack Bauer doesn’t exist. Torture never actually worked for us. And if you think you’re gonna be some kind of hero, you’re more likely to get yourself and innocent people killed. Stop pretending these things are toys.

Sorry if reality checks make you people cry. Clearly they do.

Yeah, I’m mad, because I know gun lobbyists are in the pocket of nearly every politician in Washington, and yet you gun people pretend to be some kind of vulnerable victim. That your paranoia is justified. That you have justification for treating victims of gun violence with further disdain because you think they’re CUMIN’ FER YER FREEDUMBZ. Because in fact, when I posted that meme, it was with proof that the most free countries on this planet (hint, not the USA) have some of the most extreme gun laws. So basically, drop the old defunct NRA talking points and learn how to converse with reality.

But you can’t reason with the gundead. They are truly NRA zombies. I’d like to see evidence to the contrary. But I have yet to.

Yeah, I’m not engaging these morons anymore.
